Arindam Chakravarti, having over 28 years of experience in strategizing, developing & managing multi-million food & beverage projects, has conceptualized, designed and managed large food courts, specialty restaurants, hotels, retail chain outlets, hypermarkets & supermarkets, private label products, cinema complexes and cruise lines, processed food and Dairy Businesses. He started as a Chef with the Oberoi Hotels and now after working for more than 28 years for many multinational companies, is now available for ploughing back his experience and knowledge to make your business a successful one.

His qualifications are:

  1. 3 years Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition form IHMCTAN, Taratolla, Kolkata. He graduated in 1986.
  2. 2 years PG Diploma from The Oberoi School of Hotel Management (now OCLD), 1986-88 batch.
  3. BSc in Hotel Management & Catering Operation.
  4. MSc in Hotel management.
  5. Post Graduate in Retail Management, Supply Chain and Customer Behaviour from Symbiosis.
  6. HACCP Certification in the USA, given by CDC, USPH and Nova University.
  7. Management Development Programme, Johnson & Wales University, North Miami Campus, USA.
  8. Category Management & Negotiation Skills by Leadership Solutions, Singapore.
  9. Certified Thomas Profiling Administrator.

His professional memberships are:

  1. Member of Institute of Hospitality (MIH), London.
  2. Fellow of Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH) London.
  3. Chef Professionale, Les Toques Blanches Internationale, Lucerne.
  4. Member, Western India Culinary Association (WICA), a part of ICF (Indian Culinary Federation) and WACS (world Association of Chefs Societies).

He has worked with Companies like Oberoi Group of Hotels, Carnival Cruise Lines (USA), Reliance Industries Limited, Speciality Restaurants Limited, Kantian Hospitality Private Limited, Infinity InfoTech Parks Limited, Aditya Birla Retail Limited, Reliance Media Works limited, and Amrit Group of Companies.

As owner of Arindam Chakravarti & Associates, he has also created various Restaurants, Kitchen, Banqueting Centres and Hotels, tied up with ITC’s Fortune Park Chain, apart from organising large Outdoor catering.

These exposures have developed him as an expert in the field of Hospitality, Food & beverage, Retail, Chicken processing, and Dairy. He is also known for his lateral thinking and has left behind many hallmark footprints in the Industry.
